This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Will work 3x12-hour days: Sunday - Tuesday, from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM with holiday rotation and on-call requirement.

Job Description

The CT Scan Tech will perform CT imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality images while adhering to safety and efficiency standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct CT scans based on physician orders.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain the process.
• Administer contrast media when necessary and ensure patient safety.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in the electronic medical record (Epic).
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary staff and support patient diagnosis and care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in CT imaging, with 6 months in a Level 1 Trauma setting preferred.
• ARRT certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography (CT).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience with Siemens equipment is preferred.
• South Carolina license required at the time of start.
