CT Scan Tech - Day Shift

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position scheduled for 3x12-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM, Monday through Wednesday. A holiday rotation is included.

Job Description

The CT Scan Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures using CT technology. The role requires working in a Level 1 Trauma center with varying daily caseloads. Clinicians may float within the scope to meet facility needs.

Responsibilities

• Execute diagnostic CT imaging procedures on patients.
• Perform basic biopsies and drains, as needed.
• Maintain patient safety protocols and adhere to radiation safety regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
• Document procedures and patient information accurately using Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year CT Scan experience; Level 1 Trauma experience required.
• ARRT RT (R) (CT) and SCRQSA (R) (CT) certifications required.
• BLS certification is necessary.
• Siemens experience preferred; familiarity with Siemens Force Scanner is advantageous.
• Must provide a radiation badge, as agency will not supply this.
• South Carolina state license required before reporting to the facility.
