Registered Nurse - Rehabilitation

Schedule

Night shift, 3x12-hour schedule (19:00 - 07:30), every third weekend, and holidays as needed.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Rehabilitation to provide high-quality patient care in an inpatient rehab environment. The successful candidate will work with patients recovering from strokes, brain injuries, and other neurological disorders, delivering specialized rehabilitation services. This role requires the ability to float between various campuses as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor vital signs and conduct patient assessments.
• Administer medications and manage medication reconciliation.
• Perform dressing changes and prepare aseptic/sterile procedure trays.
• Conduct telephone triage and respond to pharmacy refill requests.
• Maintain accurate patient records and charting using EPIC.
• Evaluate and interpret laboratory results relevant to patient care.
• Provide nursing care for patients with various diagnoses, including CVA, TBI, and ABI.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of acute care rehabilitation experience.
• Current and valid RN license.
• BLS certification required.
• Must be proficient in EPIC charting system.
• Experience with interpretation of dysrhythmias is preferred.
