Job Description

This is a full-time position for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). The role involves providing occupational therapy services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing treatment plans for patients.
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine patients' needs and goals.
• Administer therapeutic exercises and activities to improve patients' motor skills, coordination, and functional abilities.
• Teach patients how to use adaptive equipment and assistive devices.
• Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
