Medical Technologist / Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) - Contract Position

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Medical Technologist (MT) to join our team for an exciting opportunity. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting, with phlebotomy training and preferred experience in microbiology.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests and analyze samples according to established protocols.
• Collect and process blood samples and other specimens using proper phlebotomy techniques.
• Ensure laboratory equipment is maintained and calibrated for accurate results.
• Document and report findings accurately, communicating results to healthcare providers.
• Provide variable coverage as needed for night shifts depending on departmental needs.

Schedule

Primarily scheduled for day shifts, consisting of 4 - 10 hour shifts, with alternating days and hours based on departmental needs. Additional variable night coverage may be required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Technologist.
• Active MT licensure in Montana.
• Phlebotomy training is required.
• Microbiology experience is preferred.
• Experience with Epic systems is a must.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
