Job Description

The position requires a combined skill set for both X-Ray and CT technologies, focusing on adult acute care and outpatient services. Incumbents will work primarily with patients from the Emergency Department and inpatient settings, performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform X-Ray and CT imaging procedures on a diverse adult patient population.
• Administer contrast media as required for CT scans.
• Utilize portable X-Ray equipment for patient examinations when necessary.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed regarding radiation exposure.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Active ARRT certification, BLS certification, and NT State License required; ARRT Advanced Certification preferred.
• Experience working in adult acute care and outpatient settings, particularly in an Emergency Department is desired.
• Proficiency in performing basic X-Ray procedures including chest, abdomen, extremities, and CT procedures such as CTA's of the head/carotid and PE studies.
• EPIC charting system experience is required.
