Schedule

Night shift from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am, with the possibility of variable shifts that may include 1:00 pm to 1:30 am on occasion.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our dedicated Emergency Department team. This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assess and monitor patient conditions.
• Collaborate with the medical team to develop individualized care plans.
• Provide patient and family education on treatment plans and care post-discharge.
• Function as charge nurse when needed, overseeing team members and patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in the State of Maine.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS certification is a plus.
• Previous charge nurse and preceptor experience is required.
