D/N Rotation: 3x12-Hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00 / 07:00 - 19:00) with weekend coverage required every other weekend.

Job Description

The LPN Medical Surgical role involves providing nursing care to patients in a medical surgical setting, under the supervision of an RN. The position requires performing various clinical tasks and managing patient assignments effectively.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient vital signs and assess pain levels.
• Provide wound care and manage drainage systems.
• Assist with patient bathing, grooming, and hygiene needs.
• Bac administer oxygen and manage feeding tubes.
• Communicate changes in patient status to the RN or MD.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active New York Single State LPN license required (not compact).
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent acute care experience is necessary.
• EPIC charting system experience is mandatory.
