Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30), every other weekend.

Job Description

The LPN Hospital Float position requires a dedicated nursing professional to provide care across various hospital units, including Burks, subacute rehabilitation halls, and households. Responsibilities include recognizing individual patient needs, delivering quality care, and assisting with complex healthcare requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide long-term care in Household Units, accommodating residents with varying cognitive abilities.
• Work in a fast-paced environment on Hall 1, delivering sub-acute rehabilitation care.
• Assist patients with chronic and acute illnesses on Burk 1 and Burk 2 units.
• Implement clinical nursing interventions and develop patient care plans.
• Perform basic nursing tasks such as medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
• Current ACLS & BLS certification required.
• Valid Maryland or Compact license required at the time of submission.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills, especially in acute care settings.
• Experience with Cerner charting system preferred.
