Job Description

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will float between various units including Burks, Halls (subacute rehab), and Households, providing essential care to patients across different settings. The LPN will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care, performing assessments, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and provide care according to prescribed plans.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and health status changes.
• Assist with daily living activities and therapeutic procedures.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, safety protocols, and infection control guidelines.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of LPN experience required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Valid Maryland or Compact Nursing License required at the time of submission.
• Experience in long-term acute care (LTAC) preferred.
