Schedule

Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00), weekends required (6 shifts every 6 weeks).

Job Description

We are seeking a Telemetry RN who is capable of providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment. The nurse will float between units and handle a patient ratio of 1:4-5. Previous charge experience is preferred, along with competency in using the Epic charting system.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including cardiac telemetry monitoring.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient assessments and progress in the electronic health record.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members for comprehensive care.
• Assist in the management of patients with various diagnoses, including CHF, NSTEMI, and COPD.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• At least 1 year of experience in a telemetry unit.
• Current RN licensure in the state of practice (compact license required).
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Experience with trauma level II patients preferred.
