Day 3x12-Hour shift (07:00 - 19:00), rotating weekends required.

Job Description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will provide comprehensive respiratory care in a Short Term Acute Care setting. Responsibilities will include ventilator management, aerosol therapy, and troubleshooting high-pressure alarms among other critical care tasks. The ideal candidate will be proficient in working with various patient age groups and handling complex respiratory issues.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage respiratory therapies and procedures.
• Conduct assessments and monitor patients’ respiratory function.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding respiratory therapies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
• Utilize Epic for charting and documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1 year of previous charge experience preferred.
• Valid Washington RN license required at the time of submission.
• ACLS, BLS, NRP (preferred), and PALS certifications required.
