MS/Tele RN - Night Shift

Schedule

3x12-hour night shifts: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM. Every other weekend required.

Job Description

The MS/Tele Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing care to patients with medical and telemetry needs in an acute care hospital setting. This position requires the ability to float as needed within the scope of practice to meet facility needs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients in a telemetry unit.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Coordinate with the interdisciplinary team for patient care.
• Provide education and support to patients and families.
• Respond to emergencies and assist during codes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical-surgical or telemetry nursing role.
• Current South Carolina RN license or a Compact license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHSS preferred.
• Telemetry competency and experience in community hospitals preferred.
• Charge nurse experience preferred.
