Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Tech - Travel Position

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shifts will be rotating (days, evenings, nights), with a total of 36 hours per week. Call and weekends are required, which can include weekdays and weekends.

Job Description

The role involves working in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Tech alongside a multidisciplinary team. The candidate will be required to have a strong background in CVOR as well as additional experience in general, orthopedic, neuro, vascular, trauma, robotics, and transplant cases.

Responsibilities

• Assist in cardiovascular surgeries and other related procedures.
• Provide in-house call support with a response time of 30 minutes.
• Utilize call rooms if necessary.
• Cover various surgical cases including cardiac robotics, LVAD, and heart transplants.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Certification with NCCT or NBSTSA is mandatory.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in CVOR within the last three years is required, with a preference for 3 years.
• At least 1 year of Level 1 Trauma experience within the last three years.
• Recent travel experience of at least 1 year is necessary.
• Experience in scrubbing is not required.
