Schedule

Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30) with every other weekend rotation and on-call for holidays as needed.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in telemetry to provide high-quality patient care for acutely ill medical-surgical and orthopedic patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret patient telemetry.
• Administer medications and intravenous therapies as prescribed.
• Assess patient needs and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Document all nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in code blue situations as necessary.
• Float to other Cone Health facilities as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a telemetry or similar unit.
• Current BLS certification is required; ACLS and NIHSS preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
• Active RN license required with submission.
• Knowledge of IV medication administration and telemetry principles is essential.
