Med/Surg Telemetry RN - Night Shift

Night shift, 3 - 12 hour shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg Telemetry RN to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in a telemetry setting, ensuring the delivery of effective treatment and monitoring of patient conditions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care in a telemetry unit, including monitoring vital signs and patient condition.
• Collaborate with medical staff to implement and evaluate patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and post-discharge care.
• Document all patient care activities accurately in the electronic health record.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or a compact state.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
