Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Psychiatric Nurse to provide care in our inpatient and detox programs. The facility features a 63-bed inpatient treatment program for adults battling mental health issues and substance abuse. This role will focus on delivering high-quality care to patients and ensuring their safety and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric nursing assessments and care.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patient responses.
• Engage in therapeutic communication and support for patients.
• Participate in treatment planning and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Maintain accurate paper charting of patient progress and care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year recent psychiatric nursing experience required.
• CPI certification preferred.
• Experience with paper charting is essential.
