Day shift, 8 hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Job Description

The Radiation Therapist will be responsible for delivering high-quality radiation therapy to patients. The clinician will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care is provided.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiation treatments to patients as prescribed by the physician.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during therapy sessions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment logs using Epic charting system.
• Assist in patient and family education regarding treatment processes.
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals for multidisciplinary patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiation Therapist.
• Current BLS and ARRT certifications are required.
• Experience with the Epic charting system is mandatory.
• Ability to float between hospital units or affiliate sites as needed.
