Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse for our Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The RN will be responsible for providing attentive and compassionate care to patients and their families in a 16-bed unit. The patient-to-nurse ratio is typically 2:1, with variations depending on acuity and staffing needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care in the ICU environment.
• Perform advanced medical procedures including central line insertion, arterial line insertion, lumbar punctures, chest tube insertions, and EVD insertions.
• Utilize specialized equipment such as ventilators, CRRT, SLED, and EV 1000.
• Document patient assessments and care in Meditech.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Prior ICU experience is essential.
