Registered Nurse - Days / Varied Shift

Job Description

The RN provides nursing care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process and within the framework of the Department of Nursing Standards of Patient Care and Specialty Specific Standards of Patient Care. The RN assumes leadership responsibilities, which includes delegation of work to other levels of employees and compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and policies governing the provision of health care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver age-specific, direct patient care.
• Utilize the Nursing Process in providing care.
• Assume leadership responsibilities and delegate work accordingly.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal health care regulations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ACLS, BLS, PALS (or ENPC) certification required before contract start date.
• De-escalation training required before contract start date or must be scheduled at time of clinical orientation.

Schedule

Days / Varied shift. This is a 13-week contract position.
