Stepdown Unit Nurse

Schedule

Rotating shifts available across day (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) and night (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) schedules.

Job Description

Join a dynamic team in a Stepdown unit providing critical care to patients requiring close observation. Nurses may float to care for similar patient populations in designated units.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health problems and needs.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Monitor patient health and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 18 months of recent Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit experience preferred.
• Must possess a Permanent Ohio nursing license or a Compact state license.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are required.
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments.
