Shift: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM with rotating weekends.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled RN for our CVICU. The unit has 14 beds and maintains a high nurse-to-patient ratio, providing care for critically ill patients with cardiac conditions. The ideal candidate will possess experience with various cardiac devices and have a strong background in open heart recovery.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the CVICU.
• Manage and monitor advanced cardiac devices including ECMO, RVAD, LVAD, Impella, and IABP.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
• Perform typical procedures like CABG and valve surgeries.
• Assist in the recovery of open heart surgery patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
• Previous cardiac nursing experience is required.
• Competencies in the use of ECMO, RVAD, LVAD, Impella, and IABP are preferred.
