Job Description

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist provides timely diagnostic and therapeutic services to both inpatient and outpatient individuals under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. This role involves administering a variety of nuclear isotopes for scanning, detecting pathology, regulating scanning equipment, and managing film organization and development.

Responsibilities

• Administer nuclear isotopes for diagnostic imaging.
• Conduct quality control and equipment management.
• Prepare and organize imaging films.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Nuclear Medicine.
• Cardiac experience is essential.
• Familiarity with Cedars Sinai software and operation of DualHead CorCams is preferred.
