Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling complex medical conditions including spinal neuro trauma surgical cases, gunshot wounds, and working with quadriplegics and paraplegics.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with spinal neuro trauma and surgical needs.
• Administer medications and monitor patient vital signs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record system (EPIC).
• Educate patients and their families on care plans and discharge instructions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the medical/surgical specialty.
• Current nursing license verification through Nursys.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred.
• Skills checklist and references required.
