7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 12-hour night shifts; 36 hours per week

Job Description

This position is for experienced Registered Nurses specializing in Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) care. Travelers must be comfortable working in each specialty and are expected to work independently in a small, rural facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care across the lifespan, from newborns to geriatrics.
• Utilize cardiac monitoring skills and provide assessments in a variety of clinical settings.
• Manage higher acuity PCU patients with an appropriate nurse-to-patient ratio.
• Respond to medical emergencies and implement care plans as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 3+ years of experience in PCU, Medical/Surgical, and Telemetry settings.
• Current New Hampshire RN license or Valid Compact RN license.
• Basic dysrhythmia test certification required.
• Active American Heart Association ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Prior travel experience and rural/small facility experience are highly preferred.
• The candidate must have their own vehicle for this assignment.
