CT Scan Tech - Night Shift

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including holiday rotation and on-call requirements.

Job Description

The CT Scan Tech will provide high-quality imaging services in a busy teaching hospital environment. The tech will work closely with patients and staff to deliver safe, efficient care, particularly in a Level 1 Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke Center.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans on patients following established protocols.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Administer contrast media as required for examinations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the Epic charting system.
• Collaborate with medical staff to provide effective patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a CT tech role, with at least 6 months in a Level 1 trauma setting preferred.
• Active BLS certification.
• Current ARRT RT (R) (CT) and SCRQSA (R) (CT) certifications required.
• Experience with Siemens equipment is essential.
• Radiation badge supplied by the agency is mandatory.
