Shifts are from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM.

Job Description

The position involves working in a high-acuity environment providing care to adults requiring inpatient rehabilitation services. Nurses will support various patient populations, including those recovering from strokes, brain injuries, amputations, and orthopedic injuries. The unit operates similarly to a medical-surgical unit, requiring all staff to assist with patient care tasks and support CNAs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in the inpatient rehabilitation unit.
• Assist with patient mobility and daily living activities.
• Monitor vital signs and patient conditions regularly.
• Document patient care activities accurately using electronic health records (EPIC).
• Participate in team meetings and care planning for patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience in a skilled nursing or 24/7 skilled care environment.
• Must have a minimum of 13 weeks experience with EPIC.
• Med-Surg or inpatient rehabilitation experience is preferred.
• BLS certification is required.
