Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Night Shift

Schedule

3x12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, including every other weekend and holiday rotation.

Job Description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will provide essential respiratory care services to patients across all areas of the hospital, including critical care units and labor and delivery. The RRT must possess recent critical care experience and a thorough knowledge of respiratory therapies.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy and monitor patient responses.
• Perform intubations and extubations as needed.
• Manage and troubleshoot mechanical ventilation for patients.
• Evaluate and interpret arterial blood gases.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent critical care experience.
• Current SC RCP (South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider) license required at the time of start.
• National certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, and NBRC (RRT) must be in hand at the time of start.
• Charge experience and familiarity with Epic charting system are preferred.
