Adult Respiratory Therapist - Night Shift

Schedule

3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including every other weekend and holidays as needed.

Job Description

The Adult Respiratory Therapist will provide care to patients in critical care settings, assisting with various respiratory support protocols including but not limited to ECMO, IABP, and Impella. This position requires expertise in adult critical care, with responsibilities including patient assessment, treatment planning, and monitoring respiratory therapies.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments, including mechanical ventilation and aerosol therapies.
• Conduct patient assessments and continuous monitoring of vital signs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans.
• Participate in emergency response for critically ill patients.
• Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in the electronic medical record (Epic).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in adult critical care.
• Current NBRC RRT certification.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Active South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider license must be obtained prior to starting the assignment.
