3x12 hour shifts, Nights (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM) with holiday rotation; every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with recent critical care experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing respiratory care to patients in all areas of the hospital, including labor and delivery, and must demonstrate the ability to float as needed.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess patients' respiratory status.
• Perform key procedures such as intubation, extubation, and tracheostomy care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about respiratory care and therapy.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a critical care setting.
• Current South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (RCP) license.
• National certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, and NBRC (RRT) must be in hand at the time of start.
• Experience with Epic charting system required.
