Adult Respiratory Therapist - Night Shift

Schedule

3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including every other weekend and holidays as needed.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Adult Respiratory Therapist to join our team at a teaching hospital. The ideal candidate will work in a high-acuity environment, providing care in Adult ICU, Stepdown, and Floorcare settings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory care to adult patients in critical care settings.
• Prepare and use various types of respiratory therapy equipment.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust therapy as needed.
• Coordinate with healthcare team members to provide optimal patient care.
• Float to other service lines as required, including ART at a sister facility.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have at least 1 year of experience in an adult critical care environment.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required.
• Active South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (RCP) license is mandatory at the time of start.
• Experience with EPIC and Cerner charting systems is preferred.
