Night shifts: 4x12-hour (18:30 - 07:00)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CVICU Night Nurse with a strong background in cardiovascular intensive care to provide exceptional patient care. As a critical member of our team, you will be responsible for managing complex patient cases, utilizing advanced medical knowledge, and supporting overall patient recovery.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the CVICU.
• Monitor patient conditions and manage dysrhythmias.
• Administer medications and intravenous therapies as prescribed.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team for effective patient treatment.
• Participate in patient assessments and care planning.
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-operative care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in CVICU or similar settings.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
• Experience with advanced equipment and procedures, including ECMO and IABP.
