Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4pm, no weekends, holiday rotation.

Job Description

The Occupational Therapist position treats injured, ill, or disabled patients through the therapeutic use of everyday activities, helping these patients develop, recover, improve, and maintain the skills needed for daily living and working.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients in the acute care and nursing home settings.
• Screen patients and attend meetings regarding patient progress.
• Document evaluation, progress notes, daily notes, insurance, and discharge notes in patients' medical records.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure effective carryover of services for patient care.
• Conduct outpatient evaluation and treatments.
• Perform other duties as requested.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Master of Occupational Therapy required; Doctorate preferred.
• National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy and a Wisconsin occupational therapy license required.
• Continuing education to maintain licensure.
• Must maintain a valid, current driver’s license.
• BLS certification required.
• 1+ years of related work experience required.
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail required.
