Day shift, 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30). Call required: typically 6 evenings and one weekend per 6 weeks.

Job Description

The Cardiac Catheterization Lab Travel Nurse will provide high-quality care in a busy diagnostic environment. The nurse will be responsible for various procedures in the cath lab and must be able to respond quickly during call hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic catheterizations and cardiac interventions.
• Monitor patients throughout procedures and manage life-threatening situations.
• Set up and operate equipment, including fluoroscopy and vascular closure systems.
• Maintain a sterile environment and uphold isolation precautions.
• Assist in advanced cardiac procedures such as stent placements and IABP management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Labs.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
• Experience with cardiac cath lab procedures such as PCI, PTCA, and IABP.
• Active compact nursing license recognized by Swedish facilities.
