Job Description

We are seeking a Stepdown ICU RN to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional nursing care to patients in a stepdown unit, ensuring their safety and comfort while adhering to best practices and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Document nursing interventions and patient responses accurately in the electronic health record.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a stepdown or ICU unit.
• SC RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required; CPI preferred.
• Epic charting experience required.
• Telemetry competency and cardiac telemetry experience required.
