Job Description

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will work in Radiology specializing in Nuclear Medicine. The role entails operating GE equipment and performing various nuclear medicine procedures, ensuring adherence to radiation safety and Texas regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine procedures including Lexi Scans, Hida Scans, Gastric Emptying, Pulmonary Ventilation, Bone Scans, Liver Scans, Thyroid Scans, Renal Scans, and GI Bleeds.
• Maintain and calibrate GE nuclear medicine equipment.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and safety protocols.
• Work collaboratively with a small team, including technical staff.
• Participate in weekend shifts and be available for on-call duties as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT).
• Experience with GE equipment and familiarity with nuclear medicine imaging techniques.
• Knowledge in Radiation Safety and Texas Regulations.
