Registered Nurse - Nights

Shift: Nights 11 PM - 7 AM

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will observe residents on a continuing basis, alert to changes in their mental and physical well-being. This position requires effective communication with both residents and their families, as well as collaboration with other nursing staff and physicians.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and document residents’ health status and report significant changes to the Supervisor.
• Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders and maintain accurate documentation.
• Supervise and assign tasks to Licensed Nursing Assistants (LNAs) in accordance with licensing requirements.
• Provide wound care and manage feeding tubes in compliance with facility protocols.
• Ensure a clean and safe environment by overseeing infection control practices.
• Conduct resident admissions, discharges, and transfers with proper documentation.
• Communicate effectively with residents’ families regarding care and concerns.
• Participate in staff education and maintain ongoing communication with nursing management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 3+ years of current nursing experience within the last 6 months.
• Must be IV certified or willing to obtain during onboarding.
• COVID vaccination is required; declinations/exemptions are not accepted.
• Active New Hampshire nursing license required.
