Job Description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for delivering exceptional respiratory care to patients in accordance with established protocols and standards. The role demands a minimum of 2 years of experience within the specialty to ensure high-quality care and compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments as prescribed by medical staff.
• Monitor patient progress and document findings accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding respiratory care and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and infection control standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy.
• AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS & RRT Certification (NBRC) required.
• Credentialed as a Registered or Certified Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) through the National Board for Respiratory Care.
• Must hold a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the Georgia Composite State Board of Medical Examiners.
