CVICU Registered Nurse (RN) - Night/Day Shift

Schedule

Night and Day shifts available: 3x12-hour rotating shifts (19:00 - 07:30 / 07:00 - 19:30). Must work at least every other holiday.

Job Description

We are seeking experienced CVICU Registered Nurses to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in cardiac care and critical care settings, providing high-quality patient care while adapting to the operational needs of our facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the CVICU.
• Monitor patient status and vital signs closely, administer medications, and manage IVs.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to manage patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and aftercare.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 18 months of permanent CVICU experience required.
• Active Ohio Nursing License or Compact License in hand.
• Current BLS, ACLS & NIHSS certifications required.
• Travel experience is acceptable for meeting the experience requirement.
• Passing score on ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessment required during orientation, with two attempts allowed.
