Medical Technologist - Nights

12-hour shifts, from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM. Shift times will vary; please discuss with the Director.

Job Description

The Medical Technologist will perform diagnostic testing on patient samples to aid physicians in the diagnosis and/or monitoring of various disease states. This role involves following standardized procedures, preparing samples for testing, and analyzing test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic testing on patient samples.
• Prepare samples for testing according to standardized procedures.
• Analyze test results for accuracy and critical limits.
• Plan and accomplish goals relying on limited experience and judgment.
• Report findings to a manager or supervisor.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BA/BS Degree required.
• California CLS license is mandatory.
• Experience in Microbiology and Blood Bank is essential.
