Job Description

We are seeking a qualified LPN for a position in Long-Term Care Nursing. Travelers must be willing to float to other units as needed, and all units have dementia patients, so candidates should be comfortable working with this population.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in a long-term care facility.
• Assist in the management of dementia patients, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
• Perform necessary medical procedures and assist with daily living activities.
• Maintain accurate patient records and communicate effectively with other healthcare staff.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have a minimum of 3 years of nursing experience.
• Prior travel nursing experience is required.
• Experience in long-term care is essential.
• BLS certification through AHA is required.
• Floating to other units is necessary; flexibility is key.
• Background check and certifications (FACIS 3 and VCIC) must be completed promptly.
