Telemetry RN - Step Down Unit

Location

This position is located in a telemetry unit with the capability of taking stepdown patients.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM

Job Description

The Telemetry RN will provide care in a 24-bed telemetry unit, administering medications, conducting assessments, and collaborating on care plans. The ratio of patients to nurses is 3:1 for stepdown patients, 5:1 on day shift, and 7:1 on night shift.

Responsibilities

• Medication administration
• Conducting patient assessments
• Creating and following care plans
• Assisting with communication and teamwork within the healthcare team

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid state nursing license
• Completed Arnot Skills Checklist and Competency Exam
• Current health screenings (TB test, Hepatitis B, Influenza vaccine, etc.)
• Driver's License or State ID
