CT Technologist - Night Shift

Job Description

The CT Technologist is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services for both inpatient and outpatient settings under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. The role requires a graduate of an accredited AMA school and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT), as well as state licensing as a general radiographer.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic radiographic procedures, including fluoroscopy, portable procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services.
• Demonstrate proficiency in routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures, including CT of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures.
• Possess knowledge of processing CT systems, surgical/sterile procedures, studies with or without contrast media, and cross-sectional anatomy.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited AMA school.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
• Licensed as a general radiographer in the state.
• Cross-trained in CT; ARRT CT certification is optional.
