Day shift, 5x8 hours, 5:30 AM to 10:30 PM, with occasional weekend and holiday shifts required.

Job Description

The Charge Nurse will oversee the operations of the dialysis unit, managing a 24-chair unit and providing acute and chronic treatment to patients. The role requires occasional floating to other dialysis locations and includes responsibilities related to patient care and unit administration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the dialysis unit.
• Provide leadership as Charge Nurse, managing staff and patient care.
• Administer and monitor dialysis treatments.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and patient safety protocols.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of Charge Nurse experience in a dialysis setting.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with both chronic outpatient and acute dialysis required.
• Must possess a valid New York nursing license.
