Job Description

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for performing various diagnostic tests using nuclear medicine techniques. The technologist will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high-quality patient care while adhering to safety and operational protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine scans, including HIDA scans, Muga scans, and PET scans.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients according to prescribed protocols.
• Ensure accurate imaging and maintain high standards of patient care.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to interpret and analyze imaging results.
• Maintain compliance with safety regulations and quality assurance protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in nuclear medicine.
• Active Maryland state license.
• ARRT-N, CNMT, NMTCB certifications required.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
