Certified Cardiac Monitor Tech - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 3x12-Hour Nights (19:00 - 07:30). Manager will also consider 8-hour shifts.

Job Description

The Certified Cardiac Monitor Tech is responsible for monitoring cardiac rhythms and providing crucial patient information to nursing and physician personnel. This night position requires expertise in cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance of monitoring equipment.
• Monitor patients' cardiac rhythms in various specialty areas.
• Communicate rhythm variances to nursing and physician personnel.
• Document and maintain rhythm strips in patient charts.
• Float to all specialties where cardiac monitoring is in place within the facility.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a cardiac monitor technician.
• Acceptable certifications include CCI CRAT, NTA, and BLS.
• Strong cardiac monitoring/dysrhythmia interpretation experience is preferred.
• Active Maryland or Compact License is required at the time of submission.
