PCU Nurse - Night Shift 3x12-Hour

Schedule

The schedule for this position consists of night shifts, working 3 twelve-hour shifts weekly from 18:45 to 07:15.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled PCU Nurse to provide high-quality care in a 424-bed Progressive Care/Stepdown/Telemetry floor. This facility is recognized as a comprehensive stroke center, Level II Trauma, and Chest Pain Accredited facility, offering complex care for patients undergoing PCI and open-heart surgery.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage patients with various conditions, including heart failure, stroke, sepsis, and respiratory failure.
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias.
• Administer blood products and manage central and peripheral lines.
• Utilize rapid response and code teams effectively.
• Ensure the application of isolation precautions and use of PPE.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of PCU nursing experience.
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
