Job Description

The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing MRI procedures, including setting up, scanning, and processing. This role requires effective communication with radiologists, physicians, patients, and their families. The technologist will also manage contrast injections, perform quality control and reporting tasks, maintain schedules, and assist radiologists. The MRI department operates under ACR imaging and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures, including setup, scanning, and processing.
• Communicate effectively with radiologists and other medical staff.
• Administer contrast injections and conduct quality control tasks.
• Maintain operational schedules and assist radiologists as necessary.
• Operate and maintain MR and auxiliary equipment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of MRI experience required.
• ARRT (R), ARRT MR, and Washington License required.
• BLS certification required.
• Local travelers with permanent residence within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for a travel contract.
• No pending licenses accepted.
