Schedule

Monday and Tuesday 6 PM - 6 AM in ER, and 1 (12-hour night) on Med/Surg each week.

Job Description

The registered nurse will plan and provide total patient care through the nursing process, which includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs. The nurse will direct and guide patient teaching and the activities of ancillary personnel while upholding professional nursing standards.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ needs and develop care plans accordingly.
• Implement nursing interventions and evaluate patient responses.
• Provide patient education and coordinate care with ancillary staff.
• Maintain standards of professional nursing practice.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Iowa RN license required.
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required.
• Experience preferred, but not required.
