Job Description

The Physical Therapist I/II / Advanced Physical Therapist I/II position provides quality physical therapy services to a predominately Native American population for the treatment or prevention of physical disability or disease. Responsibilities include managing and implementing the Physical Therapy program, conducting evaluations and treatments for inpatients and outpatients of all ages, and providing specialty services such as wound care, prosthetic and orthotic clinic, geriatric clinic, high school clinic, functional clinic, spinal cord clinic, assistive technology evaluations, and Durable Medical Equipment Prosthetic Orthotic Supply Program.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy evaluation and treatment for various patient demographics.
• Manage specialty services and clinics.
• Assume direction for the physical therapy section, including quality improvement and risk management.
• Educate staff and participate in reporting and meetings.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Bachelor's degree from a CAPTE accredited school of Physical Therapy.
• Current and valid physical therapy license in any state within the United States, District of Columbia, or Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association.
• Ability to meet requirements for credentialing to serve on the Medical Staff.
